FOREX: The US dollar remained bid during the Asia-Pacific session, investors
encouraged by progress on US tax reform, with the US Senate Budget Committee
announcing the tax bill has been sent to the Senate for voting. Dollar-yen
trekked high from Y111.38 to Y111.67 before easing modestly on N Korea concerns.
Aussie-dollar remained friendless, the rate easing from $0.7608 to $0.7583.
Kiwi-dollar  followed its Tasman neighbour, the pair fading from $0.6904 to
$0.6884. Euro-dollar consolidated between $1.1839 and $1.1856. Meanwhile, cable
consolidated gains made in US markets, after the UK Telegraph reported that the
UK/EU have reached an agreement over the final divorce bill. The pound ranged
between $1.3336 and $1.3381.
