FOREX: The week has started with a bit of a whimper, with FX markets
consolidating through much of the Asian and European morning sessions. Sterling
is the outperformer in the G10 this morning after opening bid in Asia on the
back of some renewed Brexit optimism, but has since retraced most of its gains
as further negative headlines have hit. GBPUSD hit a session low just ahead of a
disappointing services PMI print.
Elsewhere, all other currencies are trading in a narrow range with the Antipodes
outperforming European currencies. European equity market performance is mixed
so far this morning while European yields are marginally higher on the day.
