GOLD: The yellow metal has chewed its way through support during Asia-Pac hours
and last deals ~$12/oz or so lower on the day, threatening to make a clean break
below $1,700/oz. From a technical perspective bears now eye $1,680.5/oz, the
April 22 low.
- The trickle of positive news re: COVID-19 matters and looser lockdown
restrictions continues to falter through, likely applying some pressure to
bullion, while gold imports for both China and India hold on the weaker side.
