GOLD: The yellow metal has fully retraced its early bid after markets breathed a
collective sigh of relief on the back of some of the bigger foreign names
getting back to work in China, or at least pointing to short-term restart dates
in terms of their Chinese operations (however, disjointed the processes may be),
leaving spot little changed at $1,570/oz as we type.
- Gold had a look through Friday's highs on early Coronavirus worry, but the
move proved fleeting on the back of the aforementioned news flow.
- Familiar technical lines remain in play.
