GOLD: The yellow metal has held below $1,300/oz during Asia-Pacific trade, after
breaking below the psychological level on Thursday. Gold last trades at
$1,297/oz, $1 or so higher after drawing a modest bid from a TASS report which
suggested that North Korea is mulling the suspension of denuclearisation talks
with the U.S.
- Bears eye a break of the 76.4% retracement level of the move from $1,280.94/oz
to $1,311.33/oz at $1288.11/oz, while bulls need a break back above $1,300/oz to
open up a move to the 21-DMA.
