EUROZONE ISSUANCE: There is a pause in eurozone sovereign bond issuance
Wednesday before Italy returns to the market on Thursday. Issuance is now
expected to total E16.5bln this week after Spain launched E7bln in a new 10-yr
syndicated deal on Tuesday.
- ISSUANCE: Still to come this week on Thursday Italy Tap 7-yr Sep-25 CCTeu for
E1.5-E2.0bln, 5-yr 0.95% Mar-23 BTP for E1.5-E2.0bln and 10-yr 2.00% Feb-28 BTP
for E2.0-E2.5bln.
- RECAP: On Tuesday Italy tapped 2-yr CTZ for E1.75bln and allotted E838mln
0.10% May-23 BTPei and E412mln 2.55% Sep-41 BTPei. Spain then priced E7bln in
new 10-yr Jul-28 Obli.
- CASH FLOWS: There is a combined E0.39bln coupon payment from France and Italy,
but no redemption payments this week.
