EGB SUMMARY: There is only one word that sums up EGB markets today: flat.
- It has been another quiet day in EGB markets with Schatz yields 0.3bp lower on
the day and 10y Bund yields 0.1bp lower on the day. Peripheral and semi-core 10y
spreads to Bunds are all within one basis points of yesterday's close.
- The main headline across the Eurozone has been the confirmation that Spain
will hold snap elections with the date set for April 28.
- Economic data has been light this morning with Spanish CPI confirmed at 1.0%
Y/Y for January and Eurozone trade data coming in in line with expectations.
