Total’s Port Arthur Refinery Reduced Output at Some Units

The small CDU at TotalEnergies’ 238kbpd Port Arthur refinery in Texas is operating at a reduced level, as well as a FFC and VDU, people familiar with plant operations said.

  • The 40kbpd ACU-2 CDU is running at lower levels and the 76kbpd FFC-2 is also running at reduced levels, after it underwent a three-month maintenance that ended it late November.
  • The 51kbpd VDU-1 is also running at reduced production. ACU-2 and VDU-1 were shut until restarting in late December.
