Tracking Suggests Increasing Global Crude Flows

Tanker tracking data suggests global crude exports edged higher last month according to Bloomberg.

  • Total shipments rose 209kbpd in tracking data covering just under half of all volumes.
  • Increases were seen in flows from Saudi Arabia to China and Egypt and from Kuwait to Egypt and US. Russia also saw slightly higher exports of Urals.
  • UAE and Venezuela shipments fell with lower supplies to China.
