US TSYS: *** Traders eyed the 2.40% cash 10-year note said to be "the line in
the sand" for Asian accounts, who've been hankering to buy that level for quite
a while. That compares to the current 2.343% level. The 10-year note last closed
at the 2.40% level on May 11, 2017.
- So it is thought that there would "a wall of buyers" of 10-year notes at that
level, said observers. "That continues to be the magic number for a lot of Asian
accounts," said one trader.
