EURO-DOLLAR
EURO-DOLLAR: Traders have reported of light volumes as the euro holds a narrow
$1.1625-53 daily range. Main focus this morning on Eurozone HICP which is
expected to drop slightly (Inline with the German decrease yesterday) to 1.4%
from 1.5% previously, downside is expected to be moderated by gains in energy
prices. Also out at 1000GMT Eurozone Unemployment data is published (median
9.0%) and EZ GDP. GDP is expected to print 0.6% on the quarter, translating to
an annual rate of 2.4%. Upside risks are posed by strength in the industrial
sector as illustrated by PMI's. Euro-dollar last $1.1637.
