Transneft Builds Two Tanks for ESPO Oil Pipeline

Transneft has constructed two new oil tanks of 50 mcm for the East Siberia – Pacific Ocean (ESPO) oil pipeline, according to TASS.

  • "Transneft-Vostok built two new tanks at the pump station (PS) No. 21 in the Amur Region. Tanks with the capacity of 50,000 cubic meters each will be engaged in oil transportation over the first stage of the East Siberia - Pacific Ocean (ESPO-1) trunk oil pipeline," Transneft said cited by TASS.
  • Russia is gearing up to bolster its exports of oil Eastwards, namely to China, as it seeks to open new markets for its barrels to replace those shuttered by embargoes or price caps.
  • Elsewhere, A Russian delegation led by Deputy PM Alexander Novak will visit Beijing from Dec. 12-16 to participate in the 20th meeting of the Russian Chinese intergovernmental commission on energy cooperation, according to TASS.
