US TSYS SUMMARY: Treasuries and rate futures have been trading fairly steady on
Friday, largely brushing off European political noise.
- The Dec 18 T-Note future is up half a tick at 118-265, having traded in a
fairly narrow range of 118-245 to 118-295.
- A little bear flattening in the curve: 2-Yr yield up 0.8bps at 2.862%, 5-Yr up
0.4bps at 2.9414%, 10-Yr up 0.4bps at 3.114%, and 30-Yr up 0.4bps at 3.3633%.
- Eurodollars fairly steady as well; strip is trading mixed, with a few
contracts here and there up/down half a tick.
- Dollar trading a little stronger, DXY up 0.1% at 97.005; Equity futures
pointing lower, S&P E-mini down 0.5% at 2,721.25.
- Highlights of Friday`s calendar include industrial production data up at
0915EST and Fed's Evans speaking at 1130EST.
