US TSYS SUMMARY: Treasuries are a little stronger in a return from Thanksgiving
Thursday, though remain relatively subdued on Black Friday.
- The Dec 18 T-Note future is up 2/32 at 119-95, having traded in a range of
119-04 to 119-10.
- A bit of flattening in the return of cash trading: 2-Yr yield is up 0.2bps at
2.8157%, 5-Yr is down 1.2bps at 2.8781%, 10-Yr is down 1.5bps at 3.0481%, and
30-Yr is down 1.6bps at 3.2999%.
- Eurodollars a little stronger, up 1-1.5 ticks across most of the strip.
- Main overnight headlines involved trade, with China hoping to meet 'halfway'
with U.S., and a WSJ report that Washington has asked allies to stop using
equipment from China's Huawei.
- Oil prices dropping hard, WTI off 4.3% at $52.29; Equities set to open lower,
with S&P e-mini off 0.4%, while the dollar (DXY) is up 0.1%.
- US flash manufacturing and services PMI data will be published at 1445GMT.
- CME trading closes at 1215CET/1815GMT as part of the Thanksgiving holiday.
