US TSYS: Treasuries are seeing dip buying, which appears to be pre-weekend
safe-haven buying (still lingering risk from N.Korea) ahead of a long US Labor
Day holiday weekend and Monday US bonds/stocks/govt holiday. There is also
short-covering going on, said traders.
- Such recent dip buying also occurred as Tsys in midmorning got pushed lower by
brisk rate-locking hedges being done into next week's expected heavy high-grade
US$ corporate bond issuance (see details for Sept. US$ bond issuance in the
10:36am ET, 10:40am ET bullets listing potential issuers.)
