US TSYS SUMMARY: Treasuries are slightly weaker, with heavy Fed speaking
schedule and ISM nonmanufacturing ahead, and Italian budget headlines noted.
- The Dec 18 T-Note future is down 3.5/32 at 118-225, having traded in a range
of 118-205 to 118-285 so far Wednesday.
- Cash curve is slightly steeper: 2-Yr yield is up 0.6bps at 2.817%, 5-Yr is up
0.5bps at 2.9563%, 10-Yr is up 1.1bps at 3.0744%, and 30-Yr is up 1.1bps at
3.2284%.
- Eurodollar futures weaker at the far end of the strip, with Greens and Blues
off 2.5 ticks.
- Philadelphia Federal Reserve Bank president Patrick Harker kicks off a wave of
speeches in the US at 1200EST in Baltimore. This is followed up with the Federal
Reserve Board of Governors member Lael Brainard speaking in Chicago at 1415EST.
- The penultimate speech is from Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell at
1600EST in Washington D.C. Concluding these batch of speeches is Dallas Federal
Reserve bank president Rob Kaplan speaking in Kansas at 2000EST.
- US ISM nonmanufacturing index will be published at 1000EST.
