US TSYS SUMMARY: Treasuries are stronger in the early going Wednesday.
- A bit of risk-off in the overnight session and weak Australian CPI helped Tsys
edge higher, with some follow-through after poor German IFO data at 0400ET.
- Jun 10-Yr futures (TY) up 9/32 at 123-13 (L: 123-03.5 / H: 123-13.5).
- Curves a little steeper; 2Y10Y up 0.55bps at 20.5bps, 2Y30Y up 1.65bps at
63.0bps, 5Y30Y up 1.57bps at 63.5bps. 3M10Y flatter though, -2.4bps at 10.1bps.
- Equity futures little changed; S&P E-minis up half a point.
- Little U.S. macro data today (MBA mtg apps); more market attention likely to
be paid to the Bank of Canada decision (1000ET) and corporate earnings
(including Boeing, Caterpillar, Facebook, Microsoft, Visa, and AT&T).
- 2-Year FRN & conventional 5-Year note supply is due today.
- No Fed speakers amid blackout ahead of next week`s FOMC meeting.
