US TSYS SUMMARY: Treasuries are trading a little weaker as equity markets have
steadied following Tuesday's late rally, with FOMC minutes and housing data
coming up later.
- The 2-Yr yield is up 0.9bps at 2.874%, 5-Yr is up 0.7bps at 3.0305%, 10-Yr is
up 0.6bps at 3.1691%, and 30-Yr is up 1bps at 3.3434%.
- Eurodollar futures off modestly, with Green and Blue contracts off 2.0-2.5
ticks.
- All eyes on FOMC minutes to be released at1400 EST, where the focus is set to
be on the removal of 'accommodative' from the Sep statement and what policy may
look like once it reaches neutral. Also Fed Gov Brainard speaking in Boston at
1210EST.
- Housing starts and building permits for Sep coming out at 0830EST: the
seasonally adjusted pace of housing starts is expected to slow to a 1.230
million annual rate in September after moving up slightly in August.
