US TSYS SUMMARY: Treasuries are trading a little higher on Friday, recovering
from a modest post-FOMC selloff.
- The Dec 18 T-Note future is up 5.5/32 at 117-305, having traded in a range of
117-235 to 118-00.
- Curve is bull flattening: 2-Yr yield down 1.6bps at 2.9488%, 5-Yr down 2.4bps
at 3.0679%, 10-Yr down 3bps at 3.2077%, and 30-Yr down 3.4bps at 3.4%.
- ED$ futures a little stronger, Mar20 through Sep22 up 2.5 ticks.
- S&P E-mini futures off 0.5%; DXY dollar index 0.1% higher.
- Weaker oil prices also noteworthy: WTI falling below $60 for the first time
since April, now 22% below October peak.
- October PPI, Wholesale inventories and trade sales and the prelim November
Uni. of Michigan report out later.
- With Thursday's FOMC turning up little surprise, attention turns to the Dec
meeting, starting with Fed speakers today: Quarles, Williams and Harker.
