US TSYS/5Y: Treasuries drifting, 10Y yield is at 2.312%, not clear what the
driver is; one would have thought it's just some late day post-auction
redistribution sales after 5Y auction; but some cited real money precautionary
sales though.
- "There has obviously been a change of heart in the market with the hawkish Fed
Chair Yellen talk on Wednesday," said one trader. "The real money might have
been long. Yellen appears to be starting to spook some people" hence the recent
selling as a precaution in case of Dec. rate hike, he added.
- Others however may be selling in case afternoon tax news is Tsys-bearish.
