US TSYS SUMMARY: Treasuries have largely reversed the modest gains made in the
overnight session Wednesday, with FOMC minutes and CPI data up later.
- The Jun 19 T-Note future is down 0.5/32 at 123-20, having traded in a range of
123-185 to 123-245.
- Short-end is outperforming on the cash curve. The 2-Yr yield is down 1.2bps at
2.3375%, 5-Yr is down 0.5bps at 2.3005%, 10-Yr is down 0.4bps at 2.497%, and
30-Yr is down 0.5bps at 2.9094%.
- Eurodollar strip steady across the board, +/- 0.5 ticks.
- March CPI set to be the day's data highlight (0830ET). Headline expected to
rise by 0.4% M/M after a 0.2% gain in Feb; core seen at 0.2% (prior 0.1%).
- Fed out at 1400ET; MNI will be releasing a brief preview with sell-side
analysis beforehand. Fed`s Clarida appearing at 1150ET as well.
- More immediately, the ECB decision (0745ET) bears watching.
