Treasury Declared Today’s Auction Of BTP 2030 Bonds Void

  • The Treasury only sold CLP214bn out of a total of CLP320bn in bonds offered today, according the Ministry of Finance.
  • The Treasury sold CLP150bn in bills due April 2029 at 6%, with demand of CLP 284bn. It also sold CLP64bn of CLP120bn offered in BTP 2040 at 6.3%, where demand was CLP 75bn. However, the sale of CLP50bn via the reopening of BTP 2030 bonds was declared void.
