Treasury To Hold Investor Call For Green Bond Debut Issue

Italy's Treasury released its framework for Green Bond issuance this afternoon (available by clicking here), and will hold a global investor call at 1430GMT/1530CET on Mar 1 as well as one-on-one investor calls.

  • Our Policy Team reports that in a press conference today, Davide Iacovoni, head of Public Debt at Treasury said that they will target a a longer-dated bond with a maturity over ten years with overall size to be determined by market demand. He added that due to the newness of the market, the Treasury wouldn't yet be looking to build a yield curve.
