US TSY FLOWS: Tsy futures trading mixed, off overnight lows w/long end trading
mildly higher from Tue's settles on decent volume. Equities near steady (emini
+0.5, 2447.5), gold firmer (+1.12, 1310.39), oil weaker (WTI -0.30, 46.14).
- Asia, brief bid in early Asian hours evaporated, consolidation after Tue safe
haven rally on US/N. Korea tensions moderated. Sources reported asset manager
and Asian regional bank selling in the intermediates.
- London, Tsys traded sideways into London session, two-way flow from bank
portfolios in the short end, prop and fast$ buying in the intermediates, Sep/Dec
futures roll volume moderating ahead Thu's first notice.
- Swaps, spds running wider, spread curve giving back portion of multi-session
steepening. Decent paying near $2B payers in 3Y spds from 1.6970-1.6900% at
0734ET, after payer in 2Y2Y for $100mln and payer of $200mln 5Y.
- Eurodollars, mildly lower for the most part, wings steady on light volume; 3M
LIBOR set -0.0008 to 1.3161% (-0.0017/wk).
