- Asia, Tsys opened steady/weaker, holding narrow/lower range w/long end buying
into London open. Knock-on pressure following strong Australian business
confidence. Asian banks bought 2s and 5s, Asia real$ bought 5s and 10s. China
ten year government bond yield rose over 4.0% for the first time in three years.
- London, carry-over bid w/long end outperforming. Sources reported real$ sold
5s, bank and prop acct buying 30s, flatteners.
- Swaps, spds running mixed, spd curve mildly steeper. Sources reported
scattered receivers, mixed spd curve flow with flatteners reportedly by RV
accts, recent 10s20s steepener.
- Eurodollar futures, steady to mildly weaker; 1M LIBOR jumps +0.0132 to 1.2635%
