- Despite uptick in Asia-Pac trade, which has held (Dec 10-Yr futures (TY) up
5/32 at 130-3.5 (L: 129-29 / H: 130-07)), little overnight news of note.
- The 2-Yr yield is down 0.6bps at 1.6735%, 5-Yr is down 1.8bps at 1.5897%,
10-Yr is down 3.6bps at 1.7008%, and 30-Yr is down 4.4bps at 2.1419%.
- Attention paid to 0900ET when acting director of nat`l intelligence Maguire
appears before a House comm to discuss complaint by an unnamed `whistle-blower`
admin official re Trump-Ukraine.
- Lots of FedSpeak today. Dallas' Kaplan first up at 0930ET. Late Wednesday he
talked down potency of monetary policy, citing diminishing returns in lowering
Funds rate and possibly same for future QE.
- He is followed by Bullard at 1000ET; Clarida and Daly at 1145ET; Kashkari at
1400ET; and Barkin at 1630ET.
- Final Q2 GDP reading at 0830ET (no revisions exp.), alongside Aug goods trade,
inventories, and weekly jobless claims. Pending home sales at 1000ET.
- NY Fed repos: term $60bn (prev. $30bn) @0800ET, $100bn (prev. $75bn) @0830ET.
