TTF Drifts Lower on Warm Weather and Filling Storage

NATURAL GAS

TTF front month is trading slightly lower again today with Europe storage filling and weather forecasts showing above normal temperatures for NW Europe until the middle of October.

    • TTF NOV 22 down -1.2% at 159.95€/MWh
  • European gas storage levels have almost reached their target of 90% of capacity with stocks up to 89.61% based on data from Oct 3. The French regulator this morning said their gas storage facilities are now full ahead of winter.
  • Gazprom this morning has announced the resumption of gas flows to Italy via Austria after new gas year regulatory changes forced a halt to flows over last weekend.
  • Russian gas transit via Ukraine is today nominated back up to 42.4mcm/d while Norwegian flows are holding steady with today nominated at 326.7mcm/d.
