TTF Extends Decline Towards Weekly Low

Front month TTF extends decline towards to the lows of the week at 41.88€/MWh amid a wider commodity selloff due to financial market concerns. Warm weather next week is adding to the downside pressure with lower heating demand limiting gas withdrawals to help maintain high storage levels into the end of the heating season.

  • The return of Dunkerque LNG today is also adding to the downside pressure although the other three French LNG terminals are currently expected to remain closed until 21 Mar.
    • TTF APR 23 down -4.4% at 42.4€/MWh
    • TTF SUM 23 down -4.5% at 43.2€/MWh
    • TTF WIN 23 down -3.4% at 50.6€/MWh
    • TTF SUM 24 down -2.1% at 48.33€/MWh
    • TTF WIN 24 down -1.8% at 50.23€/MWh
