TTF Falls Back From Earlier Spike

NATURAL GAS

TTF front month price has fallen back below 200€/MWh having reached as high as 227.5$/bbl earlier this morning.

  • TTF AUG 22 down -0.9% at 198.17€/MWh
  • TTF WIN 22 down -0.7% at 197.29€/MWh
  • TTF SUM 23 down -4.3% at 139€/MWh
  • Nord Stream physical flows have now fallen as expected to 14.4GWh/h and just 20% of capacity.
  • Reports from German Spiegel newspaper are that Gazprom has booked extra capacity in the Transgas pipeline through Slovakia for today which would make up for lower supply to Germany.
  • Russia earlier said they were supply Europe with as much gas as possible.
