TTF Higher on Concerns for Winter Supply

European TTF gas trading up on the risks to winter supplies as Putin announces a ‘partial’ mobilization.

    • TTF OCT 22 up 5.5% at 205€/MWh
    • TTF WIN 22 up 6.8% at 220€/MWh
  • Russia has already stopped gas flows into Europe via the Nord Stream pipeline, but Russian supplies continue through the southern routes of Ukraine and Turkey. Gas transit through Ukraine is unchanged from yesterday at 42.4mcm/d.
  • Nominations for supplies from Norway are still picking back up to 275.8mcm/d as the period of maintenance gradually comes to and end. Supplies were up at about 330mcm/d in early August before the outages.
  • European storage is up to 86.24% full with Germany at 90.29%, Italy at 88.02%, France at 95.66%, and Netherlands at 87.29%.
