TTF Prices Regaining Ground

TTF prices have regained some ground today after a sluggish start to the week pinned on strong European gas stocks, high LNG imports and signs of solid demand reduction – though still short of targets.

  • European inventories are at over 91% while short term weather forecast suggest warmer than usual temperatures in the weeks ahead, helping to limit consumption.
  • Despite positive signs of action across Europe to limit energy security fears, the market is still priced four times higher than normal for this time of year and is poised to react to any signs of supply disruption.
  • TTF NOV 22 up 3.3% at 159.22€/MWh
