TTF Reverses Earlier Losses On Outage, Lower Wind

TTF front month has reversed earlier losses amid a minor outage extension in Norway and a downward revision in NW European wind output, emphasizing the volatility to supply disruptions.

  • TTF front month has traded between €25.555-27.50/MWh today.
  • TTF AUG 23 up 1.3% at 27.41€/MWh
  • Norwegian gas flows to the UK and Northwest European terminal were at 335.5mcm/d today. The unplanned outage at the Aasta Hansteen field has been extended by one day until 20 July, marginally curbing output by 5.8mcm/d.
  • German wind output has been revised down for this weekend, supporting natural gas output for power generation.
