TTF Reverses Some Earlier Losses

TTF front month has reversed some earlier losses after spiking to almost €50/MWh earlier this week following the announcement that the Dutch government plans to close Europe’s largest gas field in October.

  • TTF recovered from an intra-day low of €34.30/MWh.
  • Gassco added some small maintenance extensions to Norwegian gas fields today. The 6.5mcm/d unplanned outage at Norne has been extended by six days until 23 June. Unavailable capacity during annual maintenance on 22-23 June at Gulfaks has been raised to 7.4mcm/d, from 3.4mcm/d previously reported. There has been a new remit message for the 22.5mcm/d Oseberg maintenance. The field will be offline from 19-27 June.
  • TTF JUL 23 down -9.3% at 37.32€/MWh
