US TSYS SUMMARY: Tuesday has seen modest weakness in Treasuries so far, with new
home sales and non-manuf ISM data and Fed speakers coming later.
- The Jun 19 T-Note future is down 4.5/32 at 121-23, having traded in a range of
121-225 to 121-295.
- T-Notes have broadly mirrored the slow rise in equity futures, with the S&P
E-Mini up 0.11% after trading a little weaker earlier.
- Curve trading weaker but mixed, with the 2-Yr yield up 1.6bps at 2.5568%, 5-Yr
up 1.9bps at 2.5462%, 10-Yr up 1.3bps at 2.735%, and 30-Yr up 0.7bps at 3.0965%.
- Most overnight attention has been on China, with its annual policy report
pointing out a 'tough economic battle' alongside a fiscal stimulus push.
- U.S.T.R. confirmed it will postpone the Mar. 1 tariff rise on Chinese goods.
- Data focus on US Feb ISM non-manufacturing PMI and Dec new home sales.
- Fed's Rosengren, Kashkari & Barkin are due to speak.
