Turkey Joins S. Africa's Case Against Israel, Local Data On Tap

  • Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced that Ankara would join South Africa's case against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ). As a reminder, South Africa accused Israel of genocide in the Gaza Strip, filing a formal complaint with the ICJ in December. The court ordered Israel to prevent harm to innocent civilians but stopped short of demanding a ceasefire.
