TURKEY: Simsek Sees Inflation Falling to “Thirties” in 1Q-2025
TURKEY
- Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek sees inflation falling to the “thirties” in 1Q 2025 and likely to the “twenties” around June or July 2025, he said during an interview on CNNTurk.
- Turkey's home sales rose 9.9% y/y in August versus +16.0% in July, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute. Meanwhile, the nation’s house price index rose 34.4% y/y in August, according to data from the central bank, or +3.6% in month-on-month terms.
