Turkish Rates Claw Back Gains W/W, 5Y CDS Falls

  • Local & USD rates remain unchanged this morning, having closed broadly on the front foot in yesterday's session.
  • TurkGBs ended bull flatter with 5-10Y yields dipping -6-7bp on the day.
  • Similarly, USD bonds also closed bull flatter with the curve shifting -4.8-8.4bp lower across the breadth, and 5.2-8.4bp lower in 7-15Y tenors.
  • W/w the TurkGB curve stands lower at both ends with 3-6m tenors most bid at -37-46bp, while 9-10Y yields hold -20-24bp lower on week.
  • Similarly, USD bonds trade -20-28bp lower across the curve, with 7-20Y tenors outperforming on week.
  • Turkey's 5Y CDS has also pulled back -23bp since Monday, eyeing 440 support.
