U.S./Europe Testing Session Lows

Tuesday has opened with a subdued risk tone, with Asian equity markets lower and European bourses / U.S. futures on the back foot and testing session lows.

  • Asian stocks closed weaker, with the Japan's NIKKEI down 80.36 pts or -0.3% at 26467.08 and the TOPIX down 1.94 pts or -0.11% at 1758.81. China's SHANGHAI closed down 6.427 pts or -0.19% at 3410.177 and the HANG SENG ended 202.29 pts lower or -0.76% at 26304.56
  • European equities are lower, with the German Dax down 21.26 pts or -0.16% at 13266.76, FTSE 100 down 21.22 pts or -0.32% at 6549.25, CAC 40 down 25.71 pts or -0.46% at 5568.3 and Euro Stoxx 50 down 11.29 pts or -0.32% at 3526.57.
  • U.S. futures are weaker, with the Dow Jones mini down 83 pts or -0.28% at 29974, S&P 500 mini down 13.25 pts or -0.36% at 3677.25, NASDAQ mini down 10.25 pts or -0.08% at 12585.5.
