U.S. Fiscal Timeline Slips

MARKET TALK

A fairly stagnant re-open for core markets.

  • U.S. fiscal negotiations between the Trump administration and Democrats continue to provide language that is incrementally positive at the margin, albeit with continued pushback from Senate Republican leadership, with no sign of a palatable deal. House Speaker Pelosi has now conceded that we may not see a deal this side of the election.
  • Nothing of any real note on today's Asia-Pac docket.
