U.S. gasoline demand saw a rise of 0.3% for the week ending August 17 w/w but was 1.1% below the 4-week average according to GasBuddy.

  • U.S. gasoline prices have declined for 3 straight weeks to their lowest level since March at $3.37/gal, according to GasBuddy data.
  • For the first time in 940 days (Jan, 2022), the nation's average price of diesel fuel in the US is below $3.70/gal it added.
