UK: 'Unite for Remain' releases list of 60 seats across England and Wales that

have been divided between the Liberal Democrats (43), Greens (10) and Plaid

Cymru (7) in order to maximise the chances of ousting the sitting Conservative

or Labour MP, or maintaining the seat for the incumbent Lib Dem, Green, or Plaid

candidate.

- Lib Dems being given free rein by Greens to tackle 'safe' Conservative seats

such as Tunbridge Wells, Chelsea and Fulham, and Witney. 

- Greens will be unopposed in the only seat they currently hold (Brighton

Pavilion) and 9 other seats in England (4 Con, 5 Lab).

- Plaid Cymru will seek to oust 4 Labour MPs in Wales while 3 of their MPs will

not face competition from Lib Dems or Greens. 

- With pro-Leave vote split between Conservatives and Brexit Party in some of

these seats, and Labour vote vulnerable to pro-Remain parties, the 'Unite to

Remain' alliance could win some seats previously seen as unwinnable.
