US 30yr future leads higher

  • EGBs are unmoved by the tick higher in Treasuries, and especially the 30yr (WNH3), with some big size going through on legs in the spread.
  • The 30yr front month is trading more than the 20yr, and the 4% yield has once again been rejected.
  • There's is a triple top at this area, after printing 3.9863% high on the 28th December, 3.9854% on the 30th December, and 3.9840% high today.
  • These are the highest Yield prints since the 16th November.
  • Today's low in WNH3 future was the lowest print since the 30th December, with desk unwinding some of the early pressure ahead of the FOMC minutes.
