US Cancels Some LNG Cargoes Amid Freeze

The recent freeze in the US has disrupted scheduled LNG exports out of the US, people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg.

  • The Cameron LNG facility in Louisiana canceled at least one scheduled shipments, the people said.
  • Several planned deliveries from Cameron and Cheniere Energy’s Corpus Christi facility in Texas were also delayed, they added.
  • Cancellation and delays of cargoes are expected to be short lived due to a rapid warming of temperature forecasts.
  • Feedgas flows to US LNG terminals rebounded to 12.32bcf on Wednesday, after falling to 8.20bcf/d on Tuesday according to Bloomberg. The 30-day moving average stood at 14.16bcf/d.
