U.S. crude stockpiles are expected to have fallen last week while distillate and gasoline inventories rose, according to a preliminary Reuters poll on Monday. 

  • Respondents expect crude oil inventories fell by 3mn bbls in the week to Dec. 27.
  • Crude inventories fell by 4.2 million barrels to 416.8 million barrels in the week ended Dec. 20 the EIA said last week.
  • Analysts estimated stockpiles of gasoline rose by about 400,000 bbls last week, while distillate inventories were expected to have increased by about 3.5 million barrels.
