FOREX: US dollar was modestly better bid during the Asia-Pacific session, as
regional equities bounced back into positive territory and UST yields rose.
Dollar-yen trekked higher from Y112.76 to Y113.03, Tokyo-fix related demand also
assisted in the move. Euro-dollar dropped from $1.1792 to $1.1769, with traders
citing stops below yesterday's $1.1785 base as a catalyst. Aussie bounced from
$0.7571 to $0.7609 as details in today's local jobs report showed the
unemployment rate dropped from 5.5% to 5.4%, the lowest level since early 2013.
Kiwi faded from $0.6878 to $0.6850, Aussie-kiwi demand aided the move lower.
Meanwhile, Cable consolidated between $1.3162 and $1.3188
