US Gasoline Demand Rose 0.1% in Week to May 4: GasBuddy

U.S. retail gasoline demand rose by 0.1% in the week ending May 4 according to GasBuddy.

  • U.S. gasoline demand was 0.6% above the four week moving average and modelled at 8.719mb/d.
  • The national average price of gasoline has seen a decline for the second week in a row, falling 1.0c/gal to $3.62/gal. The national average is up 2.7c/gal on the month and 11.1c/gal higher than a year ago.
