US Gasoline Imports From Europe Rose to 3-Week High

European gasoline arrivals in the US rose to the highest level in three weeks to 225kbpd in the week ending 27 July according to bills of lading and Bloomberg ship tracking data.

  • This was up from 169kbpd in the previous week.
  • According to GasBuddy data, weekly (Sun-Sat) US gasoline demand was down 0.8% last week from the week before and 1.6% below the four-week average suggesting that summer demand appears to have peaked.
