US Gasoline Imports From Europe Hit 14-Week High

Weekly arrivals of European gasoline into the US hit a three-month high Aug. 24, according to Bloomberg.

  • Gasoline imports were 495k b/d in the week to Aug. 24, the highest since the week ending May 18.
  • This represents a 44% rise on the previous week, when gasoline imports averaged 344k b/d.
  • A total of 10 vessels arrived on the US East Coast, carrying 3.2m bbl. One cargo carrying 277k bbl was discharged in the Gulf Coast.
