US Gasoline Imports from Europe Remain Weak

US gasoline imports from Europe in the week through October 19 matched the previous period’s four-week low according to Bloomberg vessel tracking.

  • Gasoline imports were 174.2k bpd during the observed week. So far this month, shipments have averaged around 200k bpd.
  • Gasoline demand in the US is weak at present, while margins have fallen, disincentivizing imports across the Atlantic.
