US Gasoline Pump Prices Falling on Week: GasBuddy

US average pump gasoline prices are falling on the week, down 9.3 cents/gal to $3.723/gal, according to GasBuddy.

  • Prices are now 6.4 cents/gal above the average for September.
  • Indiana saw the largest fall in gasoline pump prices, down 14.2 cents/gal. All states saw a decline apart from Washington, where pump prices rose by 1 cent/gal.
  • California remains the state with the highest gasoline prices, although levels have softened on the week to $5.293/gal.
  • The latest weekly EIA oil data showed four-week average US gasoline demand fell to the lowest since mid-February and the lowest for this time of year since 1997.
